  • an area in the Apple iTunes Store that is devoted
    entirely to education.
  • free and easy to use.
  • designed and managed by Illinois (Illinois on
    iTunes U).

Where We Are
  • LAS is piloting iTunes U with the Writing With
    Video classes on separate instance.
  • Currently working on transferring the pilot to a
    centrally-provided service for the campus.
  • Phase I August 2007 - December 2007
  • Authentication/Authorization - using AD
    credentials (in progress)
  • iTunes U Working Group discussing structure for
    public face and policies for distributed
    administration and support. (in progress)
  • FAA volunteered to design interface. (will start
    in November 2007)
