6. SA1 and SA2 There will be no SA1 examination
for the P1, however there will be a revision
during SA1. There will be SA2 examination.
7. P1 camp in March and June holiday Students
are encouraged to take part in the activities
in March (language camp) and June (hanyu
pinyin camp). More details will be provided at
a later date.

- This year, our Malay Language Department is
embarking on an Extensive Reading Programme
(ERP). - We will continue with our Buddy Reading
Programme. - Pupils are also required to purchase pupils
magazine, Majalah Cerdik.

- Pupils are encouraged to identify their

- Pupils need to place these worksheets in the 3

Homework Subject teachers will compile the
homework to be given to child when he returns.
Arrangement can be made with the form teacher if
a parent wants to collect the homework from the
office. Only if the child is on medical leave for

25Tamil Filing
- Do get a set of dividers for Tamil File. Teacher
will label students dividers for uniformity - Should get the 3-inch yellow file (like that of
the secondary school) with Mother Tongue
written on cover. - Files would be kept in school and returned every
Friday from second term for parents to go
through with their children and to be informed of
what has been covered thus far.

necessary - Pupils would record homework in handbook
- Parents to check handbook daily
- Pupils are to hand in homework punctually
- Parents are to sign promptly when parents
signature stamp is seen on the book / worksheets - Spelling and sentence construction books should
be signed weekly - Files and books would be returned before
examination period for parents to sign and aid in
teaching pupils.
