- Over 15 Consecutive Years of Experience

- Seven Years of Program Management Experience
- Candidates who have obtained degrees from a
University that has been accredited by PMI
through the Global Accreditation Center program
will receive a 1,500 hour reduction in the amount
of program management experience required for
eligibility. (8 ½ Month Credit) - You dont have to be a PMP or CAPM to get a PgMP

20 Program Management Standard
A program is a group of related projects managed
in a coordinated way to obtain benefits and
control not available from managing them
individually. Programs may include elements of
related work (e.g., ongoing operations) outside
the scope of the discrete projects in a program.

A portfolio is a collection of projects or
programs and other work that are grouped together
to facilitate effective management of that work
to meet strategic business objectives. The
projects or programs of the portfolio may not
necessarily be interdependent or directly
related.
