To begin click File, New, then select Design
Familiarize yourself with the controls on the
page. Then use the maximise button the make the
window fill your view.

Use the rectangle tool to draw a square on the
page. Dont worry if it is not square.
Now select the dimension tool.
Now click on the line to the top left once, it
will light red. Then click the opposite line HOLD
THE MOUSE BUTTON DOWN and drag the mouse up and
right until it is off the square, you will see
the dimension appear.
Now complete this in the other direction

Change to a 2D view, by clicking here
Still using the dimension tool, double click on
the dimension until it lights orange, then do it
again and this box appears.
In the length box, type in 200. This will change
the length of the shape. Repeat this for the
other side. You will be left with a square.

Next use the circle tool to draw a circle INSIDE
THE BOX anywhere you like.
Now it gets tricky, use the dimension tool, to
dimension the CENTRE of the circle to the edge of
the page.
To find the centre when dimensioning move the
mouse when selecting the circle slightly inside
the line until a black dot appears in the centre,
then select it before dragging the mouse again.
Do this in both directions, then change them to
100.

Change to a 3D view, by clicking the arrow to
access the popup box, click the top right 3D view.
Then click the extrude profile tool. When the box
below appears type in 100 in the distance box.
Click OK
To change the size of the circle, use the
dimension tool, and select the circle line,
dragging away from it. Simply change the number
to affect the size.

Now select the top section of the design, use the
select faces button, and hover it over the design
until the top outline lights, then click.
Now select shell solids, when the box appears,
enter 10 in the offset, then click OK

To finish off, and round the edges, leave the
area that is selected, then click the round edges
button, when the box appears enter a radius of 5,
click OK
Well done! Now click this button to finish it and
see your work!
