12What is CVTCs RIM Online Certificate?
13. . . Leading to a Certificate
14Why Would I Want to Enroll?
I have learned so much from this course. The
assignments are right on target to help me
improve my skills as a records retention manager.
I would like you to know this was a fantastic
class. I really learned a lot and it was all
directly applicable to my job.
15Why Would I Want to Enroll?
- Network with other RIM professionals
16Why Would I Want to Enroll?
- Realize career advancement
My professional life is already different
because of these classes.Â
There were several inquiries from staff at the
sites about being able to take this course in the
future since I got so much out of it.
17Why Would I Want to Enroll?
- Realize career advancement
I more than met my goals in that I gained more
confidence in my instincts on the job and in my
ability to work with 8,000 employees on records
management in a company that has not viewed it as
more than moving files out of offices into the
basement! By August, I will be back for another
course as I'm convinced that this certificate
will provide me with the most direct connection
to professional learning and on-the-job
application.
18Why Would I Want to Enroll?
I am so thankful for the two individuals I have
in my employ from the CVTC records program. They
understand the language of records and are
dedicated staff members, and I continue to look
forward for them in their development at our
firm. They have great futures with my company.

I really appreciate all the work you do to make
the class so timely and useful with relation to
the actual business world.

39Why should I register?
I saw your posting to the listserv about the
CVTC RIM Certificate classes. Â I'd sure
investigate taking one of those classes if I
wasn't already registered! Â The price is
extremely reasonable. Â I think the material we
cover would cost several hundred dollars a credit
hour at another school (out of state, that is!)
and probably would not be as good.
