Dear Diary January 1st,2004

• I am 16 years old.
• I have a mom, dad, 2 brothers, and 4 sisters.
• I have a boyfriend.
• I attend Rancocas Valley Regional High School.
• I play on the girls freshman and junior varsity
  basketball team.
  
• I have lots of friends who I hang out with.

Dear Diary February 24th, 2004

• I think that my friends are starting to run
  away.
  
• Its really bothering me because only 23 of my
  friends are around.
  
• On the news they are saying that homeless are
  even disappearing also.
  
• I dont know what's going on but Im very
  scared.
  
• I asked myself when I watch the news are they
  being murdered, or kidnapped but nobody knows.
  
• My mom has been asking questions like,Where are
  you going to be? Who is going with you? What
  street are you going to be on? She doesn't
  really act like that normally.

Dear Diary March 12th, 2004

• My family is very worried about what was going to
  happen next.
  
• I am the youngest in the house so they could be
  thinking, I hope that she Isn't the next to
  disappear.
  
• I decide to tell my family that we should go into
  hiding because if we go then they wouldnt find
  us.
  
• The family agrees to the brilliant idea that I
  had.
  
• I have to figure out what, when, and where we are
  going to hide.

MY PLANNING

• I plan to hide under the white house.
• If we need to leave or go outside I will use
  50cents armored truck that is bullet proof, and
  blow up proof.
  
• I plan to hide there because the tunnel is big
  enough to fit 7 families with 8 people per
  family.
  
• I live next to the white house and I have a map
  of how the building is.
  
• I know what wires to cut to tie up and to link
  together to get us a path through.

What Im Bringing With Me!

• I am allowed to bring 4 to 5 personal items with
  me.
  
• I am only bringing 4 items with me.
• 1st item is my clothes. I'm bringing them because
  I dont want to be the funkiest person while were
  hiding.
  
• 2nd item is my very own personal belongings we
  dont know how long we are going to be there.
  
• 3rd item is my spongebob squarepants cover, and
  fluff doll. Im bringing them because they are
  very comfortable and I wont be as scared.
  
• 4th item is my dog. My dog kizzy is a very quiet
  dog. She doesn't cause any trouble.

The Arrival

• There are more than 4 people coming with me.
• They are basically my aunts uncles, cousins,
  brothers , and sisters.
  
• Everyone in the house gets along very well we
  haven't had any arguments since my great
  grandmother died because thats what we promised
  to her.
• We are sleeping altogether.
• In one room
• With 3 bed sets.
• There will be a little refrigerator and cooler.
  This has to last us a long time or until this war
  is over.

Sleeping Ranges

• We sleep during the day and were up during the
  night
  
• We dont talk above a whisper
• We are very tight about our rules because if we
  mess up then we are screwed and we are going to
  be caught
  
• On our spare time we lay around, and play cards
  all while we are up through the night

Where We Are?

• I do not like what we are doing
• I do not like where we are
• I am not comfortable
• I hate the routine that we have to follow,
  because it is boring.
  
• I am starting to get used to it a little.
• I just have to be quiet
• I am usually up during the day but being up by
  myself is so boring
  
• After a few days of being in the tunnel we just
  become bored, and I dont like being bored.

Ive Improved

• I have improved my attitude towards others.
• I haven't really changed my bossy ness but I have
  a little bit.
  
• I have changed how I respect others
• I have respected not eating so much food.

The Enemy?

• The enemy seems to be getting closer
• Our electricity has been shut off
• We have no blankets to keep warm
• We have no air conditioning to keep cool.
• We dont even know what day, time, or month it is.

Happy or Sad?

• I am still trying to handle the sadness of all of
  my lost friends and family.
  
• I am happy that we are safe so far, and nothing
  has happened to any of us.
  
• I am mad because I chose the wrong spot to hide
  and we have lost lots of food and water.

Discovery?

• The enemy has discovered the hiding spot that we
  were at.
  
• They came, got us, took us outside and put us
  into the back of a truck.
  
• The truck was dark.
• There were lots of people.
• We drove for about a good 17 hours.
• When we got out of the truck I didnt know where
  we were.
  
• I was scared half to death.
• I was separated from my family into a group with
  older teens than me.

Environment Family

• I am with new people and in a new environment
• I dont really get friends fast like everyone
  else does.
  
• I wonder how the rest of my family is meeting
  other people who they dont know.
  
• In this environment I get treated like I wish I
  was so many years ago.

The End of the War!

• The war has ended
• I am now back with my family
• The enemy was defeated
• My family has found each other again and they are
  know speaking with one another.
  
• I have met up with my friends again.
• Now I have even more friends
• My life has really changed because I have more of
  the things that I what that I couldnt have years
  ago before the war.
