When I grow up
Objectives Capture a 5 second video interview
that answers the question What do you want to be
when you grow up and why? Transfer the video to
the computer using Windows Moviemaker. Generate
and record instructional ideas in the graphic
organizer. Tasks 1. Turn the power on by setting
the Power switch to Camera while pressing the
..small green button. 2. Press
the red Record button to record your five second
video interview. Allow the camera to
record for an additional 5 seconds. Press the
Record button to stop recording. 3.
Playback video by setting the Power switch to VCR
while pressing the small green button. 4.
Connect camcorder to laptop using the firewire.
Camera Wizard launches. Select Capture
video using Windows Moviemaker. Click OK. 5.
Select Sony DV Device. Click Next. 6. Name your
video. Save your video to the desktop. Click
next. 7. Select Best quality for playback.
Click next. 8. Select Capture the entire tape
automatically. Click next. 9. Tape rewinds and
transfers automatically. When transfer is
complete, click Stop capture. Click yes.
Close Moviemaker. Double click video file to view
video. 10. Record instructional ideas in the
graphic organizer.
