Title: Colorado Homeless Families
1Colorado Homeless Families
- Christmas 2008
- 100 bikes for 100 children!
2100 bikes given away to 100 children on a cold
Saturday afternoon in December donated by Waste
Management Employees.
- Children and parents waited with excitement and
anticipation as 100 bikes were unloaded from
Waste Management trucks. The company gathered
contributions from their employees buy brand new
bikes for the children at CHF. The childrens
faces were all smiles when the truck pulled up to
CHF. Connie Zimmerman, CHFs Executive Director,
helped to organize and make sure that every
eligible child received their brand new bike.
- Families that are homeless do not have the money
to spend on new bicycles. So it was quite a
treat for these children to receive a brand new
bike. As you will see the children were all
smiles and waited very patiently as the bikes
were handed out
3Here come the trucks from Waste Management.

the children at CHF.

children away from their new bike.
