Problem Statement
  • Design a system that allows a mobility ,
    visually, and aurally impaired person initiate
    and receive phone calls.

Background
  • Client is visually, hearing, and mobility
    impaired, however, she is very mentally aware.
  • The phone is the clients main source of contact
    with friends and family.
  • Client is unable to initiate phone calls.
  • Currently needs assistance to place calls.

  • Hearing aid cannot be interfered with
  • Patient suffers from tunnel-vision
  • Font constraints
  • Physical condition similar to that of a
    multiple-sclerosis patient
  • Patient is capable of using television remote
  • Patient is unable to speak in a commanding voice
