YOUR ROLE AS A KEY PERSON
  • Responsibilities of Key Person
  • Educate Yourself So You Can Educate Others.
  • Spread the Word.
  • Conduct Special Events Lollypop sale, Baked
    Sales, Candy Sale, DVD Sale
  • Promote CFC Online Pledging
  • Distribute a Contributors Guide Pledge Card.
  • Discuss Questions and Concerns.
  • Ask for a Gift.
  • Recognition Incentives.
  • Say Thank-you!
  • Make copy of key worker report prior to going to
    APG CFC Office
  • If a donor declines incentive, write decline on
    the report.
  • We welcome every participant even contractors. 
    The contractors can only make a one-time
    cash/check contribution to CFC.
  • Give Pledges to your campaign coordinator.

Goal Set for each Organization or Office
  • A goal based on Achieving a percentage increase
    over last years achievements
  • Amount raised last year multiply by 2 percent
    equal New Goal for each organization
  • An organization raised 32,000 dollars last year.
    The new goal for an organization is 32,640. The
    calculation is 32000 x 1.02 32,640.
  • We may average three years CFC Campaign totals
    for each organization when the organization
    raised last year is lowest in three years.
  • Your organization may set higher than APG CFC
    Office set the goal

Events
  • You can hold kick off ceremony at your
    organization
  • Let us know if you plan to have kick off ceremony
    with your director or commander at the
    organization
  • Conduct Special Events for additional fundraising
  • Car Wash, Lollypop, Candy, Books/DVD or Baked
    Goods Sales at Town Meeting.
  • Auction any incentive awards or nice flag flown
    in Iraq
  • We STRONGLY encourage you to conduct the special
    event

Special Events by APG CFC Office
  • Several proposed Charity Basketball Games will be
    host by APG CFC Office. Candies, Baked Goods and
    Drinks will be for sale.
  • We will start collection drives for Book Fair and
    Silent Auction immediately.
  • Book Fair will be held for a month or until
    books are exhausting. Books, Tapes, CDs must be
    usable and in good condition.
  • Online Silent Auction will be opened to any user
    with CAC Card on APG Home Page. We only accept
    donation of New items, Collectibles, new gift
    cards, Past CFC Prints and any usable items which
    will be determined by APG CFC Staff. NO Food or
    drugs is allowed.
  • Newcomers, Retirees Appreciation will be manned
    by APG CFC Staff Members. Candies and water will
    be for sale at the events.

CFC Campaign Coordinators FOR AA AND EA
  • Campaign Coordinators will be contacted to pick
    up books at Bldg 4023 when the books are
    delivered. All books must be picked up within
    specific period of time.
  • AA - Completed pledge cards should be turned
    Weekly or when 700 or higher is collected.
    Turn-ins are made before 1500 hours each day to
    APG CFC office, Bldg 30, Down Under, hours of
    operation are from 0800 to 1600 daily.
  • EA - Completed pledge cards should be turned in
    weekly. Turn-ins are made to the CFC Staff,
    Lobby of Stark Recreation Center, on Wednesday
    mornings from 1100 - 1300 hours.
  • APG CFC Office will be closed 24 Sept, 27th Nov
    and some afternoons on each month for special
    events.

Turn In Pledges Issue
  • Please dont hold pledges until end of the
    campaign.
  • SSN must be full 9 digital number in order to
    process payroll
  • Pledge Slips must be printed legibly and clearly
  • If Donor has concerns with SSN, have donor
    contact APG CFC Office
  • Reserves, Term or Temporary Employees cannot
    submit payroll deduction pledges but can
    contribute either money order, cash or check.
  • Please write organization name clearly (All
    tenants except garrison)

AR-600-29
  • Please read AR 600-29 first to know what you can
    and can not do.
  • Each organization is RECOMMENDED to have one
    campaign coordinator and one key worker for every
    20 Personnel (Active Military and Civilian
    Personnel only). Appointment Letter must be
    signed by director or commander and turned in to
    us no later 1st October.
  • Then All Coordinators and Key workers should sign
    the form AR 600-29 and return it to the APG CFC
    Office

Electronic Online Pledging (Cont)
  • Instruction to access to the Online Pledge will
    be available on the APG Home Page
  • Donors can be able to select more than 5
    charities online instead of paper pledges
  • Ease of use to search your preferred charities
  • Over 137,000 was collected thru online pledges.
  • Online Pledge can be accessed from home or work
    at any time 24 hours/7 days
  • Enlisted Reserve Personnel or Contractors are not
    allowed to use online pledging system
  • Notification of the Online Pledges which APG CFC
    Office has received, will be sent to Campaign
    Coordinator Mondays. Request Coordinator to show
    up when there are 4 or more online pledges with
    incentives required.

  • YES Full SSN and Signature Required for Payroll
  • Minimum deduction per period is one dollar or
    more per pay period for all personnel. NEW! NEW!
    Charity Code is now 5 digital number. For example
    Minimum 38.47 per Civilian Pay period or 83.34
    per military pay period to qualify for 1,000 or
    more award. Enlisted Reserves cannot use payroll
    deduction plan but are allowed to contribute cash
    or check.

TEAR STRIP RAFFLE
Raffle will be several past CFC Incentives and
several top incentives. Raffle will be held 4
times during the CFC season. Donor needs to fill
his name and organization name and phone
number. If any person wishes to enter raffle
without contribution, a person may fill out the
tear strip. Grand Prize will be awarded at the
end of CFC
