BACKGROUND
  • Ukraine is largest country wholly in Europe
  • Economic fortunes declined since independence
  • Agricultural sector consistently fails to meet
    enormous potential.
  • High level unemployment graduates
  • Lack of general agriculturalists
  • Ukraine in course of joining the Bologna Process

AIMS OF THE PROJECT
  • To broaden the curricula within the Agronomy
    Faculty
  • To develop and promote teaching methods to
    encourage students to learn through enquiry and
    experience
  • Establish a technical centre to assist in the
    education of students at all levels also
    available to agronomists, farmers and other
    institutions

Project Activities
  • Develop a modular teaching programme with a wider
    range of options
  • Provide technical and academic training
  • The provision and resourcing of the new centre
  • Provide learning materials and equipment for both
    new centre and lecture rooms
  • Hold summer schools to provide intensive and
    interactive learning
