• HOPE worldwide is an international charity that
  changes by harnessing the compassion and
  commitment of dedicated staff and volunteer to
  deliver sustainable, high impact, community-based
  services to the poor and needy.

Background
Bringing HOPE Changing LIVES!

• Free Childrens Clinic
• A joint partnership programme with Berjaya
  Starbucks Coffee Sdn Bhd. It provides quality
  treatment to children from underprivileged
  families. By December 2008, about 3,053 children
  have benefited through our dedicated team of 14
  volunteer doctors.
• Reading Programme
• We are currently conducting the Reading
  Programme for underprivileged children from the
  urban poor in Penang to learn to communicate and
  read in English. With more than 10 volunteer
  teachers, each student would have personal
  mentorship during each session. 120 children are
  now benefiting from the Reading Programme.

• To establish link in rural areas for possible
  future educational programmes for the children.

• Existing mobile clinics meant for emergency
  purposes only such as unit by MCA Mercy
  Malaysia
• Quality medical services very much needed in
  rural areas
• Can be a high impact program
