Graduation Requirements
  • Credits- Complete a minimum of 120
  • Courses- Successfully complete required classes
  • Standardized Testing- Pass all sections of the
    High School Proficiency Test (HSPA-11)

  • Credits are earned by successfully passing your
    classes
  • You will earn 5 credits for full-year classes,
    2.5 credits for half-year classes, and 1 credit
    for a marking period class
  • All students must take a minimum of 30 credits
    per year

Additional Freshman Program
  • Peer Group
  • Make a smoother transition to the high school
    setting by meeting your peers in a fun, relaxed
    atmosphere to discuss topics relevant to
    teenagers. All students are placed into random
    groups lead by Senior Peer Leaders.

Athletic Eligibility
  • All 9th graders are eligible for Fall sports
  • To be eligible for 2nd semester, a total of 13.75
    credits must be completed.
  • All students must have a current physical on
    file with the high school nurse. These
    forms are collected no more than 2 months
    prior to the start of a sports season.
