There once was a dog named, Lilley. Lilley had a
friend named, Lildee.

Everybody liked Lildee and Lilley. They were best
friends.

One day Lildee and Lilley got in a big fight and
Lilley ran off.

The next day Lildee was sorry for what he said
and went to look for Lilley.

Lilley was also sorry for what she said, and she
went to look for Lildee. But Lilley got lost and
she got scared.

The next day she realized that if she wanted to
live she would have to build a shelter. She got
some grass and leaves for a bed. She got food
from the trees and used the little lake for water.

Lildee finally found Lilley swimming in the pond
and Lildee got in too. Lilley got closer to
Lildee and hugged him. They made up but when
they got out of the water, they realized they
were still lost.

Lildee had to make a bed, too.

Lildee and Lilleys friends came to look for
them. They could not find them, so they sat down
and they fell asleep. Lilley heard a big bump.
It was their friend Big Bear coming to look for
them!

But they dont call him Big Bear for nothing! He
found them and he said, Free ride back to the
town! O.K. said Lilley. Lets go Lildee.
Not yet, I hear our friends, Kelly and Buddy,
calling for us. Lets go find them, said
Lilley.

They found them looking for food and they all
said at the same time, Are you ok? Yes. They
all got back on Big Bears back and they looked
for home.

They decided to take a break. They all loved the
apples and water. Then they went off to look for
their homes again. The next day they saw a little
town up on a hill. As they got closer and closer,
they saw their sad moms and dads walking home
from a day of searching around for their kids.

They ran to their moms and dads and hugged them
really tight and they hugged back. They were so
happy to see their kids. Lildee, Lilley, and all
of their friends promised not to ever wander away
from home again.
