Summary

• Jessie Aarons Jr. is a kid who likes to draw a
  lot, and he wants a friend for who he is, not
  what he has. Leslie Burke is a new student from
  Pennsylvania, and she wants a friend also. When
  Jess and Leslie meet they become the best of
  friends, and they build a stronghold out in the
  woods. ( A stronghold is a tree house.)

In this story there are different settings like
at school, at Jesses, Leslies, and out in
Teribithia.

Main Characters
In this story there are two main characters.
Leslie is a person who has a great personality.
She is always happy, never sad, and always
joyful. Jesse is sort of a depressed person who
draws a lot , and just wants a friend. (Which
Leslie is his friend.)

Opinion
I thought this was a great book. It was sad but
had a great lesson to it. I would recommend
people who like fantasy to read it.
