This amazing tool helps you focus on reducing
risks, not chasing problems!
If pain and discomfort are present, human
performance is reduced and the chance of
cumulative trauma injury is increased. Rather
than focusing on the lagging indicator of prior
injuries, the Job Evaluation Suite concentrates
on quantifying the levels of risks. Management

7Our Job Evaluation Suite Saves Money
You cannot reduce injuries, because an injury is
an event that has already occurred. However, you
can reduce the chance of injury by reducing risks.
Unfortunately, an injury comes to managements
attention only after the injury occurs. After an
injury occurs companies have a tendency to go
into reactive overdrive, making expensive and
wholesale changes in the hope of reducing future
injuries. Our Job Evaluation Suite avoids this
situation by identifying high-risk areas and then
tracking the effectiveness of programs designed
to reduce risks.

8Sample Screen from the Lifting Evaluation Tool
The user selects his/her name, and then selects
from a list of identifiers such as business unit,
location, and/or department. The titles and the
number of these identifiers are customized for
each organization. The job evaluation tools allow
the user to evaluate tasks involving lifting,
hands and arms, or computers. Judy instructs
the user to begin evaluating a Lifting task by
clicking on the word Weight.

The completed evaluation color-codes the various
levels of risk for each of the factors.

13Sample Screen Showing Scores Presented in the
Report
The row on the top displays the database filters
in use in this case the employee name, company,
location, and department. The section to the
right shows the scores for each risk factor. The
user has also completed several evaluations, and
the scores for each job are displayed to the
left. The data can be easily sorted to create a
customized report by clicking on any blue word in
the report.

By removing or adding database filters, the
reports can be customized to present any desired
data. The screen below shows a global report
identifying the average score followed by the
number of evaluations conducted and the range of
upper and lower scores.
Reports can be e-mailed from one manager to
another. Because the reports are dynamic each
manager may query the data important to him or
her.
