The goal is for students and teachers to
actively work together in the field to apply
geospatial tools, ESS concepts, social policy,
and biogeoscience methods to integrated real-
world place-based problems within a given
ecosystem, community or region. Six graduate
students are participants for 2005-6 and are
working on various topics within the realm of
sustainable development, water resource
management (CZM), biodiversity conservation, and
human health.
