SUMMARY OF THE TWO DAY WORKSHOP Day 1. Welcome
and Opening Remarks by Salvano Signing of MoU
between ISDR and CADS Presentations Part 1
Local Governments presentations from Albay, The
Philppines South Africa Pune,India and
Cataluna, Spain. The presentation higlighted the
good practices of their offices, despite the
hazards and vulnerabilities. (See power point
presentations) Part 2 Presentations from the
UN Agencies, UNOSAT, UNDP and ILO and
Provention. They highligheted their programs and
services to the Local governments. (See
powerpoint presentation

regional and national Mechanism for networking
(See presentation). Introduction of the
objectives, agenda, schedule, logistical
arrangements. Part 4. Workshops Refer to
guideline in the agenda (Summary of workshop

Summary of Evaluation by participants.
