• PMIWDC incorporated as a 501(c) 6 non-profit
  corporation in the state of Virginia in 2000

  Chapter.

Strategic Goals and Operational Objectives

• Identify PMI GOC strategic goals
• Develop synchronous Chapter strategic goals
• Develop synchronous Chapter operational

Mapping Budget to Operational Activities

• Require each Board member, as appropriate, to
  develop a time-phased budget for all assigned
  activities
• Develop budget reporting system to match assigned
  and anticipated activities
• Monitor actual revenue and expenditures versus
  planned and prepare EOY forecasts

Mapping Proposals to Strategy and Operations

• Require proposal for new initiatives that use
  Chapter resources
• Proposal form maps proposed initiative to
  strategic goals, operational objectives, resource
  usage, funding and assigned owner

• There are 21 Board members 15 voting members
  and 6 non-voting members
• All Board members are elected by the membership
• Board members serve two-year terms
• President-elect typically is elected President at
  end of his/her two-year term
