Advice
- Be aware of your workload.
- Dont count on students to be
- techno-savvy,
- familiar with your citation style of choice,
- or even good writers.
- Be prepared to update the course material yearly,
and throughout the course.

GUGM 2006
Reactions
- By having a semester-long course on information
literacy, students were able to engage the
concepts of the course. - By having a grade, students were more compelled
to master the material. - Students wished that they had taken the course
earlier in their educational careers, or that the
course were required. - Students had a head-start on literature reviews
for their theses and dissertations.
