1 Timothy 41-8 The Spirit clearly says that in
later times some will abandon the faith and
follow deceiving spirits and things taught by
demons. Such teachings come through hypocritical
liars, whose consciences have been seared as with
a hot iron. They forbid people to marry and order
them to abstain from certain foods, which God
created to be received with thanksgiving by those
who believe and who know the truth.

For everything God created is good, and nothing
is to be rejected if it is received with
thanksgiving, because it is consecrated by the
word of God and prayer. If you point these things
out to the brothers, you will be a good minister
of Christ Jesus, brought up in the truths of the
faith and of the good teaching that you have
followed.

Have nothing to do with godless myths and old
wives' tales rather, train yourself to be godly.
For physical training is of some value, but
godliness has value for all things, holding
promise for both the present life and the life to

I Commit To 1. A DAILY TIME ALONE WITH GOD

secluded place, and was praying there.

I Commit To 2. A REGULAR TITHE TO GOD
Giving a percent of MY INCOME to the Lord.

Developing Godliness Through Giving No one
can serve two masters for either he will hate
the one and love the other, or he will be devoted
to one and despise the other. You cannot serve
God and wealth. Matthew 624

In the Old Testament, Gods people were
instructed by God to give a tithe of all they
produced, which means tenth. It is giving a
percentage of your income to God.

Why did God ask for a tithe? So we would
remember to honor God. Be sure to set aside a
tenth of all that your fields produce each year
so that you may learn to revere the LORD your God
always.

kingdom. The Lord directed those who proclaim
the gospel to get their living from the

You have an opportunity to see Gods faithful
provision. Will a man rob God? Yet you are

Thee? In tithes and offerings. Bring the
whole tithe into the storehouse, so that there
may be food in My house, and test Me now in
this, says the Lord of hosts, if I will not
open for you the windows of heaven, and pour out
for you a blessing until it overflows.

3. A COMMITTED TEAM FOR GOD and let us
consider how to stimulate one another
to love and good deeds, not forsaking our
own assembling together, as is the habit of
some, but encouraging one another and all
the more as you see the day drawing near.
