Solution

• Introduced an Error Audit Procedure The purpose
  of this error audit was to identify the root
  cause of the error and to alter our policies,
  procedures, and that documentation to avoid any
  future recurrence
• Conducted reciprocal visits by cross-functional
  management teams representing Folgers, Chep, and
  Amware
• Shortened the response time for attending to
  quality concerns so to maintain the standards
  well above the acceptable range
• Scheduled routine quality audits by both Chep and
  Amware to sustain consistency in quality control

Result

• Quality concerns were quickly identified and
  remedied
• Future operational challenges and down-times were
  averted
• A direct line of communication was established
  between the Folgers plant and Amware personnel
  for consistent reliability

• Additional training was administered to Amware
  employees, including testing from the Amware
  TRAPCERT (TRAining and Proficiency CERTification)
  program
• The Quality Manager conducted a review of quality
  criteria with all employees the goal from that
  point forward is to maintain consistency in
  quality
