• Oct 2005 MURs introduced
• Gradual build up of accreditation across Dudley
• Influx of forms to GPs in various formats and
  volume

Limitations of development

• Time pressures
• Volume required pressure to do lots
• Choice of patients
• GPs not feeding back/actioning
• Format of forms cumbersome
• Record keeping

Action plan

• Spring 2007 RPSGB meeting on MURs
• Big turn out
• More training requested at feedback
• MUR action group formed
• From survey most found time management and
  pressure to produce hardest to manage

Future

• CPPE pilot study evening developed
• Asthma session to include inhaler technique
  update
• To include practice nurses
• Other targeted areas e.g. Osteoporosis
• MUR group to continue to meet to drive progress
