• 1823 Geronimo is born to Juana and Taklishim
• 1850 Wife killed in Mexico/ Geronimo marries his
  second wife
• 1851 Marries 3rd wife (Nanathathtith)
• 1852 Geronimo's third wife is killed by invasion
  of Mexico troops
• 1860 Marries 4th wife (Shegha)
• 1885 Marries 6th wife (Ihtedda)
• 1904 Marries 7th wife (Sousche)
• 1909 February 15th, Geronimo dies of pneumonia
  in Fort Still

Event 1

• What Geronimo Unites Apache bands in a battle
  against the Sonoran Militia and is given the
  battle name of Geronimo. He was originally named
  Godhoyla.
• When1850
• How Geronimo planned a journey into Old Mexico.
  He took his family since they were passing out
  gifts and stuff and along the way they got
  murdered. So to get revenge Geronimo united some
  of his friends and planned a battle.
• Why Geronimo wanted revenge for the murder of
  his family.

• When 1850
• How Geronimo married a woman named Nanathathtith
  who he'd know most of his life.
• Why Tribal custom encouraged an important
  warrior to find a second wife to show his
  importance.

Event 3

• What Geronimo is nearly killed, but continues
  the war against Mexicans. He loses eyesight in
  one of his eyes and hurts his side.
• When 1850
• How Geronimo is shot by a gun in a hand to hand
  battle against a Mexican soldier.
• Why Geronimo is still mad for what the Mexicans
  did to his family members. They killed many of
  his wives. most of his children, and his mother.

Leadership Summary

• Continued to fight for what he believed even
  though he had lost eyesight in one of his eyes
  and his hip was wounded.
• No matter what happened he always fought for what
  he believed.
• Geronimo was always encouraging other to fight
  with him, and because they had the same beliefs
  he was really encouraging them to fight for what
  the believe.
• Set a very good example as an apache warrior for
  other warriors in his tribe.
