CRC Director Professor Paul Cook CRC?? ????
13
Aims and Objectives ?????
The aim of the Centre on Regulation and
Competition (CRC) is to respond to issues at
national and international levels and explore
ways in which regulation, competition and
regulatory governance interrelate and contribute
to the process of development.
??????????????????????????,??????????,????????????
???????????????????? By adopting an
interdisciplinary approach to research, the
Centre seeks to understand how competition works
and contributes to economic development and the
role of regulation in safeguarding the
competitive process and protecting public and
social interests. ????????????????,??????
???????????????????,?????????????????????????? The
emphasis of CRCs work is ultimately on
policies to examine whether they are working as
intended, if they are working in unanticipated
ways, how they might be improved, and in some
cases why they might not exist at all.
