Pile-up Framework tasks
  • read events from multiple streams (physics, min
    bias...)
  • organize them in time ordered structures (the
    bunch crossings)
  • combine hit collections from the sub-events in
    the Xing, merging nearby hits according to
    detector-specific criteria
