Registration and assembly
  • As the first event starts at 0930hrs,
participants and team managers of the first race
are advised to turn up at least half an hour
before the event, which would be 0900hrs, for
    registration.
  • If participants are late for their respective
event for more than 15mins, they are
    automatically disqualified.
  • Participants will also have to provide
    identification with photographic support.

13
Race time
  • Due to time constraints, Novice and Standard
events may run simultaneously, causing some
confusion with the routes, please do remind your
team to take extra care when racing.
  • As such
  • LAND -
  • Novice turns at 1km point
  • Standard turns at 2km point
  • SEA-
  • Novice has only 1 lap to complete
  • Standard has 2 laps to complete

14
Transition
  • During the launching and docking of the kayaks,
there would bound to be a slight chaos, we would
definitely try to keep it minimal with marshals
guiding participants to place the kayaks back at
    the respective locations.
  • Participants are also advised to wear their shoes
down into the boats. However if you choose to
leave your shoes in holding area while rowing, we
would not be held responsible for any loss or
    damage to the shoes.

15
Event of Capsize
  • In the unlikely event of a capsize, our assigned
sea marshals would be around to assist the
    participants in a rescue.
  • Our highly experienced sea marshals will ensure
participants continue the race as quickly as
    possible.
  • Participants should not panic and instead try to
catch the attention of either the sea marshals or
the speed boat by raising the paddle.
