Title: Epidemiologic Situation

1
Epidemiologic Situation
  • As of today the lab has confirmed 17 P1 cases in
    five governorates
  • Alhudaidah (11)
  • Sanaa City (2)
  • Hadarmoat Sayeun (2)
  • Hajjah (2)
  • Taiz (1)
  • The first isolate was sent to CDC for genomic
    sequencing
  • It should be noted that the available data
regarding the number of AFP cases particularly in
Alhudaidah is incomplete as there is a
discrepancy between the number of AFP cases at
the governorate and the central unit. We hope by
the next issue this discrepancy will be sorted
    out.
