- MICHAEL Project began in June 2004
- MICHAELplus began in June 2006

- Funded by EC eTEN programme, basing on national
funding - 18 countries are now participating Belgium,

France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Malta,
the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Slovak

- Curriculum Online produced a tagging tool to
help content providers in the UK to create
educational metadata - Integrates curriculum vocabularies from BECTA
- We want to import MICHAEL records to enable the
metadata to be enriched
