  food and farming.
• What we have learnt is

• Egyptians had lots of different animals. They
  used them to farm crops. Animals trampled on the
  unwanted crops.
• They stored their food in a cellar to keep it
  cold.

• Egypt was called the bed and breakfast
• of the world because they had the right
• land for crops.

• They dried fruit to make raisins dried apples
  dried peas and more.
• They pickled vegetables they had a machine called
  a brine which they cooked meat and fish.
• Egypt is very dry if it is very dry they can only
  grow certain kinds of crops and foods.

• Farmers lived in towns and villages.
• When the corn was ripe, it was cut to make food.
• They make barley into beer and mixed hops in with
  the beer.
• They turned wheat into bread and other foods.
• Egyptians grew watermelons and other kinds of
  melons.

• and put a seed in the hole that the
