  • Software price will be the same as the time it
    was first added
  • If a software goes obsolete without replacement,
    no need to place order for the obsolete software
    during anniversary
  • e.g. MSB, Class Server
  • If there is a direct replacement, order to be
    replaced with replacement sku, we will honor year
    1 price
  • e.g. F/page to SPD

    agreement set-up in MS system

  • Acceptance Letter will provide the URL and
    promocode for customer to register their MSDNAA
    membership
  • The online site will show the standard price upon
    registration, albeit with the CASA Promo Code
    provided.
  • Fulfillment vendor will verify enrollment
    against explore and will override the price to
    zero.
  • Verbiage added to Acceptance Letter Please note
    that the ordering site will not reflect the
    free price status at the time you place the
    order. The discount is applied by Microsofts
    Subscription Team after the order is received and
    approved.

    the MSDNAA Web site

  • WAH SKUs are available in price list, order to be
    placed via MOET at zero cost
  • Vista Business is the default WAH O/S Upgrade
    offering
  • Total no. of WAH licenses ordered for a
    particular product cannot exceed
  • The total no. of faculty and staff FTE reported
    in Campus Subscription Enrollment
  • The total no. of eligible PCs reported in School
    Subscription Enrollment
  • CASA enrollment will be terminated
    automatically if no order is
  • placed within 30 days of enrollment start
    effective date.
  • To reinstate the enrollment, work with LS

    automatically if no anniversary order is
    placed within 60 days of anniversary date

    on a website that the institution host.
  • The website must provide a signature box and a
    personal identification box in which each student

    identification number as issued by the
    institution.

    of the webpage where Student Select License
    Agreement is posted, so that each student or
    faculty/staff employee can accept the terms of

in MOET
  • For Campus Schools 3.4, ALL orders must be
    submitted via MOET. Manual orders are not
    accepted
  • All CASA orders submitted via MOET will have On
    hold status as further pricing validation will
    be performed by our processing team before the
    order is released)
  • In cases where special pricing amendment or APS
    (Academic Pricing Schedule) is involved, please
    only load the orders after receiving email
    confirmation from APLQuest that these
    amendment/APS has been processed, so that our
    processing team can apply the correct pricing to
    your orders. If the order is loaded prior, and
    the wrong price is applied, credit and rebill
    (via adjustment and reload of order) will be
    required.
  • The Volume Licensing option in the drop down menu
    in MOET is used.
  • The following slides will bring you through the
    different billing options, offering types, etc
    that should apply to your Campus/School order

  • For Campus Schools 3.4
  • Additional Products can be submitted mid year but
    you will be charged the full year annual price.
    It is not pro-rated
  • Additional Product Orders for Systems,
    Applications CALS must be ordered
    institution-wide
  • If you have not chosen Student Option in your
    initial enrolment you can not add it at a later
    stage. Should you have similar situation, please
    approach your LS for assistance.

  • When a purchase order is saved and/or submitted,
    MOET will validate the following
  • Partners PO Number is not a duplicate for the
    Enrollment
  • Enrollment Number is valid for Channel Partner
  • Usage Date is valid
  • Order Type is valid
  • MS Part Number is valid for the Enrollment
  • Quantity is numeric and greater than 0
  • Billing Option is valid
  • Offering Type is valid
  • Usage Country is valid
  • Validation occurs in both the purchase order
    Header and Detail Lines. Validation errors in
    the Header prevent the Header from saving and
    must be corrected to proceed with order entry

  • There are two billing options available under
    Campus Schools
  • AE Annual Billing
  • PE Prepaid Billing
  • When should you use AE or PE?
  • The billing option AE should be chosen for both
    12 36 month subscription orders. We will assume
    that Channel Partner by default would want to
    choose AE. If there are cases where PE is chosen,
    processing team will verify the accuracy of this
    with Channel Partner and proceed accordingly.
