- Hopefully to assist parents understand how to
help their children with school

- Our understanding about how learning takes place
has changed - Unsatisfied existing curriculum
- The demands of society have changed
- Need to prepare pupils to cope with technology
the effects of globalization

- Our workforce is not what it was nor will it ever
be again - As our economy evolves we are to target a
knowledge based structure - STEM - Science, Technology, Engineering and
Mathematics

- Teachers understand learning better
- For example The Stroop Test

- Teachers will build on existing good practice
- Teachers will focus on HOW as much as WHAT they
learn
