- What do we do?
- Mission
- As part of LTS, to work in partnership with
faculties, schools and other central services to
secure the Universitys reputation for excellence
in learning teaching.

- provision for two external representatives and
for reviews to be chaired by a Pro-Dean from
another faculty (by agreement) - specific reference in the report to the

and teaching specifically, research-led teaching
and Leeds for Life - confirmation in the report of the currency of
programmes of study and re-approval of the
programme specifications - reports to be forwarded to LTB and GB.

- External examiners procedures
- The external examiner should endorse any August
papers, either at the same time as approving the
assessment for the main examinations or as a
separate exercise where papers are only set as
required - The external examiner should endorse the marks
following August examinations, this might be done
either through confirming the marks following
remote consideration or attendance at the
Examination Board in late August/September.
