• Task Description
•  
• Students should construct a small set of web
  pages using XHTML and CSS. Students should NOT
  use an editor but write the code in EditPad Lite
  (or similar). The site should have a minimum of
  four pages and a simple navigation system. The
  content of the pages should be as follows
•  
• Page 1 should be a short biography,
• Page 2 should be titled COM149 and should contain
  the group content including references,
• Pages 3 and 4 should relate to the students other
  2 modules in semester one. The content of these
  pages will be dictated by your other module
  co-ordinators.
•  
• During the semester there will be a number of
  deadlines that students are be expected to adhere
  to and that will be followed by feedback.

• Stage 1 - due - 6th October - A group wiki.
• Students will be allocated to a group. Each
  group will set up a wiki and email the URL to the
  Module Co-ordinator.
• each member of the group will have their own page
  on the wiki where they will have developed
  individual content for their biography page.

• Stage 2 due - 20th October - Group content.
• each group will have developed common content
  and have added XHTML tags to the content. Special
  attention should be paid to referencing the
  content the XHTML must be validated and contain
  no errors.

• Stage 3 due - 3rd November Individual
  content.
• each student will have added appropriate XHTML
  tags to the content of their biography pages -
  the XHTML must be validated, contain no errors
  and the pages uploaded to an appropriate
  University site.

• Stage 4 due 24th November CSS
• A supplied CSS should be attached to the
  XHTML document
• and uploaded to the students personal web
  space ensuring that
• all elements avoid "tag misuse".
• each student should ensure their web site
  is available online,
• and linked through an appropriate
  University site.

• Stage 5 due 8th December File management.
• Students should have demonstrated the concept of
  web space file management throughout the process
  and provide written documentation to support
  this.

  4.15. IMD are split into
