- Strict rules precedence for US goods.
- INCLENs code is US (000) All equipment and
supplies should be bought in the US, or from US
manufacturers, when possible. - Exemptions apply (utilities, rent, gasoline,
communications). - USAID requires INCLENs approval for procurements
over 500three quotes. - USAID requires Washington DC approval for items
over US 5000 - Planning required! Contact INCLEN.
- Items over 1000 approval from INCLEN to
dispose. - International travel US carrier even if more
expensive.

- Audits
- INCLEN can conduct audits at any time during or
after the life of a grant. - The grantee should provide all necessary
information and facilitation for this to happen. - Noncompliance needs to be corrected within two
months of audit results. - Post-hoc approvals need to minimize!
- Recommend adherence to project accounting records
and procedures.minimum control standards.
