iGoogle and RSS

• RSS Web feeds from news, blogs and other sites
• Why? To track your subject area.
• iGoogle a personalized series of Google pages
  where you can store RSS feeds by category on
  different pages.
• Go to Google, look across top for iGoogle link to
  set up.
• Look for the RSS, Atom or other feed logo on a
  page, click on it, store it on Google

• You can find sources here, build groups to

Blogs/CMS

• Content management system (CMS)
• What you see is what you get (WYSIWYG)
• Input the text, images, etc. and post
• Shorter, conversational writing
• USE LINKS!!

Blogging

• Mostly free, so its easy to get started
• Upload pics, vids
• Blogger.com or Wordpress.org
• A good way to display your work. If i were, for
  example, wanting to write columns, id write some
  on a blog and start sending it around to friends,
  posting on Facebook.
