participants from 31 countries, who studied and

- Our group enjoyed a lot working as a team
combining member experiences and skills into a
single powerful entity with clear goals in front.
- There is probably no other place and chance in
the World for people from 7 countries and 3
continents to work so close and intense, but at
3A Petro Group. - On every stage each group member participated and
contributed to the project work. Rotationary
system was implemented and successfully used
through all time, giving every person a chance to
be Chairman or Secretary of the Group. - This unique experience and positive memories
which we bring back home will always be a skill
in our real-life work
5I. Introduction
- After being defined into Small Oil Company, Group
members were able to develop Strategy for the
Case Work, which actually worked during the
process. - Important thing was Learning by Doing
principle, when all Group members contributed and
benefited from Joint Work. - 3A Petro worked hard to develop its activities
in Eureka in a best manner, thus bringing natural
oilgas resources to this country and converting
them into lasting benefits for the whole society. - 3A Petro had managed to expand its operations in
Eureka into Power generation petrochemical
industries, thus contributing to the increase of
social welfare of all people in Eureka. - Company also was successful in entering new
markets and countries. - Financial and technical results achieved show
right management approach chosen. - Group 3, i.e. 3A Petroleum Corporation, is now
proud to deliver its Final Presentation
6Company History
- 3A Petroleum Corporation was established as a
public company in September 4, 1982 by a
group of enthusiasts from three continents
Asia, America and Africa. - Corporate headquarters is located in PetroCity,
Republic of Oilers. - The business model and management have a proven
track record. - We opened our first international branch in
Algeria in 1990 and since then have
established our offices in 4 other countries
Venezuela, China, Kazakhstan and Yemen. - In a year 2000 we received an Award of
Recognition from ONS-A as the best performing
cost effective upstream company. - In a year 2001 we achieved substantial net
addition to reserve base by 20 million boe and
were able to increase our production by 15.

9Personnel Environment Strategy
- We currently employ about 250 people, out of
which 20 work in our headquaters. - We try to attract and employ the most
experienced and highly-quialified people. - We encourage our managers to go through training
program at Petrad (Stavanger, Norway) before
moving into senior level positions.
- 3A Petroleum Corporation is commited to operate
in an environmentally sound manner. To accomplish
this, 3A Petroleum Corporation - Assesses and manages the environmental impact
of its operations. - Complies with applicable environmental laws,
regulations and other requirements. - Promotes resources and energy conservation,
waste minimization and pollution prevention
programs.

20 IV. Conclusions
- Group members were able in that short period of
time to represent real business-like small
company, but with big and reasonable ambitions. - 3A Petro successfully managed its start of
activities in Eureka after making thourough
market analysis and holding negotiations with
Government and Big Company. - Company was very efficient in organizing its
management system as well as in planning and
implementing new techniques and approaches. - Our joint cooperative work for the benefits of
3A Petro as well as its Creators -) will
always be considered as a big success and one of
the best experience we have ever had...
