findings about what other districts are doing
concerning pathways in July 2007. A decision was
to have a meeting in August to learn more about
Leander. - Video conference was held with Leander ISD
regarding their 20-year implementation of
pathways. A to-do list was developed,
subcommittees were determined, and another
meeting scheduled for administrators.
5What is the charge of this group?
- As a subcommittee, we are
- To begin to pull all LCISD courses into the 16
federal career pathways and subdivide the
pathways into workable steps for our students. - To begin to define the possibilities for our
students using this type of passport/step system
6Not everyone goes to college, but everyone goes
to work. And most of those that go to college
also go to work.
7- About 50 of all those who attempt a
baccalaureate degree will dropout.
