• Click on Log in to my WebCT
• For Research College of Nursing and Rockhurst the
  log in has two parts
• WebCT ID (last 6 digits of your banner id)
• Password (initially set as mm/dd of your birthday
  e.g. May 7 is 0507) If you need your password
  reset call the Rockhurst Help Desk at 816.276.HELP

The institutional bookmarks come with all of your
WebCT courses and are decided by the College.
Institutional Bookmarkers can not deleted.
However, you may add personal bookmarks. Students
put frequently visited websites here for easy
access.

along. Global Calendar Since our entire
curriculum is web-enhanced the global calendar
becomes pivotal. There is a separate unit on
Global Calendar.

Global Calendar shows all of your WebCT courses
calendar here. Each course has it s own legend.
Students will set their global calendar and then
each week go and view week.

From the View Week students will print off that
weeks schedule. You can see that WebCT will put
the calendar entries in chronological order
regardless of the class.

At your first log in you will be asked to change
your password. After that point you can change
your password whenever you want. Type in your
old password and then type in a new password
type, Dont forget to update password before you
leave this window.

Generally speaking leave these boxes unchecked.
If you find that some of the course colors are
difficult for you to read then check the box Use
a high-contrast color scheme. Be sure to click
update when you are done. Make sure the Use a
static clock when taking a quiz is unchecked
this is beneficial when taking a quiz. You will
see a clock timing down from the beginning of the
test and reminding you how much time you have
left to finish the test.

What most students do is log off the internet and
not worry about logging out.

At a glance you can tell a lot of what is
happening in your course by looking at these
icons. This icon lets you know there is a quiz
available. Sometime, it will give you a time
parameter e.g. quiz must be submitted soon, or
quiz must be taken today.

posting to read.
