You are invited to be a part of our
one-of-a-kind, annual, post-undergraduate
tradition designed to
  • Be a fun and festive day of coordinated events
    for all 11,000 graduate professional students
  • Strengthen their connection with Penn
  • Celebrate and show appreciation for their
    academic achievements

  • Created by Joung Lee, Vice Chair 06-07
  • Entire event cost about 80K
  • GAPSA devoted 46K from budget and surplus in
    06-07
  • Penn Business Services raised 25K
  • In-kind donations from corporate sponsors Penn
    offices

  • GradFest07 on May 5, 2007 attracted over 1,000
    students
  • Pre-registration encouraged (special raffles)
  • Events on campus were free to students (boat
    cruise ticketed)
  • Team of student volunteers staffed the entire
    event
  • Free t-shirt and goody bag
  • Post-GradFest survey (June ? gave us ideas for
    08)
