He Is Risen!

And Jesus cried out again with a loud voice, and
yielded up His spirit. And behold, the veil of
the temple was torn in two from top to bottom
and the earth shook and the rocks were split.
The tombs were opened, and many bodies of the
saints who had fallen asleep were raised and
coming out of the tombs after His resurrection
they entered the holy city and appeared to

Now the centurion, and those who were with him
keeping guard over Jesus, when they saw the
earthquake and the things that were happening,
became very frightened and said, Truly this was
the Son of God! Matthew 2754

Bruce Larson said, The events of Easter cannot
be reduced to a creed or philosophy. We are not
asked to believe the doctrine of the
resurrection. We are asked to meet this person
raised from the dead. In faith, we move from
belief in a doctrine to a knowledge of a person.
Ultimate truth is a person. We met him. He is
alive.

who has given me strength, that he considered me
faithful, appointing me to his service.

was once a blasphemer and a persecutor and a
violent man 1 Timothy 113a

3. What CHANGED Pauls life? I was shown
mercy because I acted in ignorance and unbelief.
The grace of our Lord was poured out on me
abundantly, along with the faith and love that
are in Christ Jesus. 1

For while we were still helpless, at the right
time Christ died for the ungodly. For one will
hardly die for a righteous man though perhaps
for the good man someone would dare even to die.
But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in
that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for
us. Romans 56-8

Him who died and rose again on their behalf.

US! Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves
full acceptance Christ Jesus came into the
world to save sinnersof whom I am the worst.
But for that very reason I was shown mercy so
that in me, the worst of sinners, Christ Jesus
might display his unlimited patience as an
example for those who would believe on him and
receive eternal life. 1 Timothy
115,16

and depth, and to know the love of Christ which
surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled up
to all the fullness of God.
