What is happening with the probe?

• On its way to crash into Jupiter
• The crash is planned to ensure that further
  research of the planets would not be destroyed by
  a collision with one of its moons

Problems the probe has had since its launch

• Main antenna failed to unfurl
• Damage from Jupiters radiation belts
• Software caused many set backs
• Tape recorder was stuck, when all other
  instruments turned off
