What we are

• COOSS MARCHE ONLUS is a private company providing
  health care and social services, a co-operative
  one, non profit making, founded on 1979 by a
  small group of young unemployed.
• MARCHE means the region where we live and work.
• ONLUS means non-profit organisation.

HCS Service

• COOSS MARCHE provides health care and social
  services to people in need of care the elderly,
  the disabled, the mentally impaired, the
  children, etc. It directly manages residential
  houses, daily centres, protected flats,
  kindergarten and other.
• Stakeholders are users, employees,
• local authorities, public administration, N.H.S.,
  etc.
• In 2007 COOSS MARCHE consisted of over 1.700
  partners/employees.

VET activities

• COOSS MARCHE designs, organises and manages
  Vocational Educational Training initiatives for
  the qualification of unemployed people and for
  the re-training of people already employed in the
  health care and social sector.
• It is a training agency registered in the
  Regional Roll of VET Agencies.
• Courses are realised within the VET System, in
  collaboration with other VET Agencies and
  Universities.

• In-home and tutelary welfare worker (elderly,
  children, disabled)
• Social Operator (working with mentally disabled
  people, handicapped people, drug-addicted people,
  minors at risk)
• Intercultural and language for immigrant workers

Research activities

• COOSS MARCHE designs and implements research
  projects within European Programmes and together
  with European partners.
• COOSS MARCHE coordinated, managed and
  participated projects in the following framework
• V FP, VI FP, Tide, Tap, Public Health, Leonardo
  da Vinci, Adapt, Equal Opportunity, Daphne,
  Socrates, Quality of Life, Equal, Phare, Europaid.
