• You and a partner are going to be researching a
  mineral of your choice. The following
  information is what will be needed to complete
  your research
• When you choose a mineral you are going to need
  to research the properties of that mineral,
  availability of the mineral, and uses of the
  mineral. Properties include-hardness, cleavage,
  luster, streak, and color.
• After you do your research you are then going to
  use the school digital camera to take pictures of
  where the mineral is used around school, home,
  and in the community.
• This picture or pictures will be inserted into a
  powerpoint slide where your research will be
  typed.
• Common minerals that you can choose from copper,
  calcite, gypsum, talc, flourite, apatite,
  feldspar, quartz, topaz, diamond, aragonite,
  graphite, silica, zinc, lead, iron, hematite,
  halite, ruby, emerald, gold.
