Bromborough YBC Information Update 23rd June

Bromborough YBC 2006/2007 season comes to an end.
Last week saw the last league games
played. Summer season starts this
week. 2006/2007 League Champions are No
Idea. Daryl Baker, Daniel Ellis, Jake Parrott and
Matty Lochhead take the title this year after a
close contest with 2nd placed team M.E.A.N. No
Idea also won the 2007 Team Knockout Shield
making it a double celebration. Well done No
Idea.who must have had some idea after all. The
2007 Individual Knockout Competition was won by
Alex Fairclough with a commanding victory over
Sam Palmer in the final game. While Sam was
runner up, 3rd place was taken by Sean Goodchild,
4th by Daniel Thwaites, 5th by Matthew Brady and
6th by Samara Edge. The Nottingham National
results are now all posted on the NAYBC website.
Some will find it easier reading that others but
notable results include Natasha English 10th out
of 63 in Bantam singles. Alex Fairclough and
Paul Green 7th out of 160 in the Graduate
Doubles. Louise Jones and Sophia Sloan 9th out
of 30 in Junior girls doubles. Bromborough No.1
9th out of 102 in the Male team event. Paul
Green 24th out of 223 in the Graduate All
Events. All results are available on this site

opportunity for you to see how big the
competition was and to see from which parts of
the country all the bowlers came from. Inter
Club Competition Sunday 24th June sees the 2nd
round of the competition between Bromborough,
Wigan and Wallasey. This round is on home
turfor boardas the tour stop is Bromborough.
If you fancy coming down to support we will be
fielding 2 girls and one boys team. Those chosen
to play please be at the bowl for 9.50am as play
will commence soon after opening. Remember your
bowling shirts ! BTBA Memberships. BTBA
membership renewal will be due August/September.
We will let you know the dates to pay by as the
monies need to be collected before application to
the BTBA.
