Tom had been looking for something to read among
his grandfathers old books, when he found a
strange, yellowed paper stuck between the leaves
of an old volume of poetry. Tom looked at it
curiously and then he yelled excitedly, This
looks like a secret message! Tom called his
friend, the Student Detective, and asked her to
help solve the secret message. Follow the clues
after the message and see if you can be a Student
Detective.

reticule?

The reticule is buried at the base of a tree
which is known as the worlds tallest tree.

The tree is located in the park that has been a
national park since 1968 and covers 40 miles of
Pacific coastline

The reticule is buried on the side of the tree
that faces the direction Horace Greeley told
young men to go.

Start to dig as many feet deep as the number of
