plans on peaceful utilization of atomic energy.

8Administrative Structures Proposed Procedures
1. The proposals/events received from the RCA
Office or RCARO will be circulated to the
Institutes concerned, the National Project
Coordinators for consideration or arrangement
and then submitted the applications to OAP. 2.
OAP will review the proposals/applications to
identify their relevance in relation to the
objectives of the proposals/events. Â Â Â Â Â

3. OAP will inform the RCA Office or the RCARO of
the projects or events it wishes to
participate in. 4. The results received from
the RCA Office or RCARO will be submitted to
the Institutes or NPC or the selected
persons for further arrangement and
implementation.
10Mechanism for Monitoring and Evaluation
1. To hold the National Project Coordinators
Meeting for discussion about the progress of the
projects or the problems faced at least once a
year.2. To consult the NPCs for preparing the
work plan of the projects. 3. To review annual
progress reports and make recommendations to the
NPCs.
11Recommendations to improve RCA activities
1. To increase the number of the Regional
Resources Units (RRUs) in the region, especially
in the developing countries. 2. The RCA
Programmes of activities should be streamlined
into several thematic areas, each with a special
mission to solve specific priority problems in
the region and in the participating Member
States. 3. For each thematic area, there should
be an Advisory Group, consisting of
representatives of Member States, the IAEA, the
technology end-users, participating organizations
and groups of beneficiaries.
12Ways and Means to promote RAC Visibility and
Viability
- The RCA activities on Nuclear Technologies will
play a significant role in solving specific
national and regional development problems, such
as Agriculture, Health Care, Industry, Energy and
Environment. - RCA Member States which hosting the training
event are expected to make its best efforts to
promote the event to the local organization about
the benefits that derive from the RCA activities.
