  • What organization is responsible for ground
    truth for what ARFORGEN knowledge?
  • What is Army proprietary knowledge?

Scope Major Tasks / Elements
  • Establish ARFORGEN KM Framework
  • Define decision superiority in the ARFORGEN
    process.
  • Develop and clarify the distinction between the
strategic and operational KM context and identify
    Army/Joint enterprise-level decisions in, or
    supported by, the ARFORGEN process.
  • Develop the strategic guidance for organizations
to generate knowledge that answer ARFORGEN
    information requirements.
  • Determine information requirements for HQDA,
FORSCOM, TRADOC, AMC, ASCCs DRUs to support
Army/Joint decisions in the ARFORGEN process.
  • Incorporate Lean Six Sigma Value Stream Analysis
to develop the ARFORGEN process and its sub-steps
    by institutional function.
  • Establish ARFORGEN KM Policy and Procedures
  • Develop the policies and procedures to share
    ARFORGEN knowledge internally between Army
organizations and externally with OSD, JS, JFCOM,
    and COCOMs.
