3Philosophy of Phase-II Proposal
- Centre Element
- Consisting of shared infrastructure for
providing support to educational programme and to
other two elements. - Project Elements
- Consisting of a large number of Generic and
Focused Research and Development activities in
the areas of System Design, Development and
Integration. - Awareness Creation Element
- Consisting of conduct of Short term Courses,
Workshops and Discussion Meetings that CASDE has
been organizing on a regular basis.

6Concluding Remarks
- Phase-II of CASDE is configured as a period for
consolidation and sustained overall growth. - It is viewed as a time during which CASDE would
- Achieve Core Competences through Generic Studies
- Develop Applications through Focused Activities
- Create Awareness Disseminate New Knowledge
- Act as a SDE Facilitator to User/Interested
Agencies - Phase-II of CASDE is also characterized by its
efforts to seek a suitable partnership with other
agencies within, as well as outside of, DRDO. - We, at CASDE, see our future as an ARDB COE, yet
requiring only a minimal support from ARDB.
