Preparing Project Proposal

• IRAP Advisors will assist with project planning
• Plan

Project Execution

• You are managing the project once approved
• IRAP contributions start after the approved
  project start date
• Invoice and report are submitted monthly based on
  the costs incurred and paid (proof required on
  selected claims)
• IRAP Advisor visits monthly to assist when needed
  
• You will be retaining intellectual property
• Project management is flexible

Youth Internship Projects

• Non-Returnable Contribution for employing College
  or University graduate
• Minimum 2 year College program completion
• Monthly contribution 80 of graduates wage for
  at least 6 months, up to total of 15,000
• Graduate under age of 30 and first time in the
  program

IRAP and SRED Tax Incentive

• IRAPs funding not retroactive and focused on one
  project at a time
• Programs are complementary
• IRAPs contribution approx 50-75 of total
  project costs (including material and OH), the
  rest may be eligible for SRED

IRAP Auto Success StoryValiant Machine, Windsor

• Developed robotic pulsing hydrodynamic nozzle
  that allows lower-pressure water (800 psi) to
  clean the auto parts without damage, with less
  water and smaller pumps
• led directly to a multi-million dollar contract
  with a major automotive OEM and created 250 jobs
  over a six month period
